What's the white stuff on top of the bars?

The white layer that appears on top of many of our soaps is called soda ash. It is completely harmless and will wash off with the soap's first use. It is a common occurrence in cold process soaps, and is a good sign that you're getting a true cold process bar.

Wholesale availability

We are pleased to be able to offer a quantity discount on our soaps to wholesale customers. We can also offer custom labeling for a fee. Please send us a message regarding our prices and minimum orders. We use flat rate shipping for our wholesale orders to give you the absolute best shipping value for the number of bars you order.

Why is my bar slightly lighter/darker than those shown in the photos?

We pour our soaps in small batches, one at a time, and each batch is colored by hand-blended colorants. This means that, although we try to get each batch as close in color to previous ones, there is slight variation in the colors from batch to batch.

Why don't you accept returns or exchanges?

Unfortunately, we do not feel it is possible for us to accept returns or exchanges. The nature of soap is that as soon as you use it, it's impossible for us to sell to another customer. There would also be a health risk involved with taking back bars of soap, as we do not know exactly how the soap was handled and what it was exposed to while it was out of our care. We are happy to accept cancellations within 24 hours of your order, and if you're having trouble picking out a scent, please feel free to contact us so we can do our best to guide you through the process!
